PK4540: A standard 4 ˝" Gooseneck Package with Steel Backboard & Heavy-Duty Double Rim.

This package provides a rugged basketball system featuring a 4 ˝” outside diameter galvanized gooseneck post with 4’ extension and V-Brace for increased board stability to allow for safe play.

Each package includes:
1 - PK4540 Standard 4 ˝" Gooseneck Post with 4' extension and V-braces
1 - White fan-shaped steel backboard with a target
1 Heavy-duty Double Rim Park & Rec Super Goal

What is the Safe Play Area?
The safe play area is defined as the distance between the front of a basketball post to the backboard, i.e. the post extension length. The bigger the distance, the less chance of a player getting injured from contact with the post. Generally speaking, bigger posts have a larger safe play distance. Outdoor courts with heavy play should always use the biggest post size possible that fits their court space and budget.
